Join us in the Psalms
We are studying the Book of Psalms on Thursday morning starting September 11th.
This study will identify what type of Psalm was written and the author, theme, and imagery portrayed. We will look at the characteristics of the Father and see if Jesus or the Spirit is presented in the Psalm. We will also look for other passages in Scripture that support the main idea of the Psalm. The goal of this study is to look at this unique book as a whole book and to connect the Psalms with other scripture for a deeper understanding of the Father’s character and plan for humanity for His glory - while addressing human emotions depicted throughout the Psalms and how the Father relates to humanity.
Each week, we will read 3-4 Psalms (average of 35 verses) and consider how God knows His people and wants to be in relationship with us, and how we should respond. Some Psalms are quite lengthy, or quite short, so the quantity may fluctuate per week.
Please join us. We meet Thursday morning 9:45-11:30 at the home of Colleen Jensina. For more information, contact Colleen at wiseaker@comcast.net.
