Kids Ministry at Calvary Mercer

The vision of CCMC Kids is to point children to a relationship with God and nuture their spiritual growth through the study of His Word. At Calvary Mercer, our kids (infant through 6th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.

Before you come to church...

Be sure to ask the following questions on behalf of your entire group:

  • Am I or my child(ren) showing any flu-like symptoms?
  • Have I or my child(ren) had a fever or 100.4 or higher in the past 14 days?
  • Is there any medical reason why I shouldn’t be around others?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, we strongly encourage you to attend our service online this weekend at 10am.

Your first visit

Here's what to expect when visiting Calvary Mercer for the first time:

First, find the area marked by the Kids Ministry Kiosk. There we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.

Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):

  • Parent/guardian name(s)
  • Child's name
  • Child's birthdate
  • Home address
  • Phone number
  • Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

Children from ages 3-6 should be signed-in prior to service. Parents that are more comfortable keeping their children with them are welcome to have their children attend the adult service.

** Children should be potty-trained before joining Children's Church. **

Nursery // Nursing Mothers Room

Calvary Mercer offers childcare during service for infants. This room is also acts as a nice place to be able to nurse any infants while still being able to view the service.

Meet our CCMC Kids Leaders

Alyssa Hellyer joined the Calvary Mercer leadership team in 2018 and oversees the Pre-K to 2nd grade classes. As a former educator coupled with a BIG heart for kids, Alyssa is a tremendous asset to come alongside parents in the discipleship of the kids we are honored to serve.
